This article concerns a technical Integration between Centercode and an internal system outside Centercode control. Assistance from your IT team may be required.

Google Analytics tracks usage with a snippet of Javascript that they will provide you with. What you will need to do is add this to a couple of Centercode Strings.

  1. Obtain the Javascript from Google Analytics (it's a few lines long).
  2. Search for the string ma_HeaderJS in both the Community and Project level strings, and replace {empty} with the lines of Javascript that Google provided.
  3. Click OK to save the change.
  4. Search for the string ma_LoginJS in the Community level strings, and replace {empty} with the lines of Javascript that Google provided.
  5. Click OK to save the change.

You have successfully added Google Analytics to your Centercode implementation.

Notes

  • This can take up to a couple hours, but after this period of time Google Analytics should show this it is successfully tracking (receiving data).
