External Destinations allow a Feedback Type to be configured via Workflow such that an Email or HTTP post is made to another system whenever a Feedback Form is moved into a new status. This can be configured within the specific Feedback Type Workflow, and the External Destination must be configured before it can be utilized within a Workflow.

Create External Destination:

From the Project Homepage:

  1. Click the Project Tools link in the left hand menu.
  2. Click the Feedback Types button in the main body area.
  3. Click the table cell of the desired Feedback Type.
  4. Click the External Destinations button in the main body area.
  5. Click the Create a New External Destination link at the bottom of the table.
  6. Click the Next button at the bottom of the page after selecting either HTML Email, Text Email, or HTTP Post.
  7. Fill in the details of your External Destination as desired. This will be what information you want sent to your external system. 
  8. Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page to confirm.

You have successfully created an External Destination.

Modify External Destination:

From the Project Homepage:

  1. Click the Project Tools link in the left hand menu.
  2. Click the Feedback Types button in the main body area.
  3. Click the table cell of the desired Feedback Type.
  4. Click the External Destinations button in the main body area.
  5. Click the table cell of the desired External Destination.
  6. Edit the details of your External Destination as desired.
  7. Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page.

You have successfully modified an External Destination.

Remove External Destination:

From the Project Homepage:

  1. Click the Project Tools link in the left hand menu.
  2. Click the Feedback Types button in the main body area.
  3. Click the table cell of the desired Feedback Type.
  4. Click the External Destinations button in the main body area.
  5. Hover over the table cell  of the desired External Destination and click the X icon to the right.
  6. Click the Yes, Delete this item link to confirm the removal.

You have successfully removed an External Destination.
