Email Templates allow you to create and save prefabricated Emails to be employed for later use.

Create Email Template:

From the Community Homepage:

  1. Click the Community Tools link in the left-hand menu.
  2. Click the Configuration link in the left-hand menu.
  3. Click the Community Email button in the Advanced Configuration body area.
  4. Hover over the table cell of the desired email category and click the New Template icon on the right.
  5. Complete the Template, including Template Name, Email Subject, and Email Body, as well as any Advanced Options.
  6. Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page to confirm.

You have successfully created a Community Email Template.

Modify Email Template:

From the Community Homepage:

  1. Click the Community Tools link in the left-hand menu.
  2. Click the Configuration link in the left-hand menu.
  3. Click the Community Email button in the Advanced Configuration body area.
  4. Click the table cell of the desired email category.
  5. Make any desired changes to the Email Template.
  6. Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page when satisfied.

You have successfully modified a Community Email Template.

Remove Email Template:

From the Community Homepage:

  1. Click the Community Tools link in the left-hand menu.
  2. Click the Configuration link in the left-hand menu.
  3. Click the Community Email button in the Advanced Configuration body area.
  4. Hover over the table cell of the desired Email Template and click the X icon to the right.
  5. Click the Yes, Delete this item link to confirm the action.

You have successfully removed a Community Email Template.

Notes

  • Once created, Templates will be available for use in the associated areas (User Action Email Templates will be selectable when sending a User Action Email, for example). You can also build and save Email Templates when sending an email from the appropriate area, as part of the process, which will then become available to manage in the Email Templates section detailed above.
